Virtual office in Croatia for foreign companies is a Zagreb business address and local mail handling for a parent company abroad. Whether it can serve a branch or subsidiary is confirmed for your case. Never assumed.

This page is written for the head office. The people who sign, pay and read the mail from another country.

What a parent company uses the address for

A subsidiary needs one address for its documents. A branch needs a place to list. A group that deals with Croatian customers wants letters to land somewhere local. State which one is yours, because it decides the enquiry.

An address is one part of a Croatian presence. For filings and company paperwork, ask a Croatian accountant or lawyer.

Signing and paying from another country

Directors abroad cannot always travel for a signature. Ask early how signing works for your setup, whether documents travel by email or courier, and in which language they arrive. Ask in the first message, before it becomes urgent.

gov.hr says the e-Sudski registar route for founding a d.o.o. is open to Croatian and EU/EEA citizens, and the in-person route also to foreign citizens (read 15 Oct 2026): gov.hr founding page.

Ask about payment too. A company account outside Croatia may not use the methods a local one does, so settle it before you commit.

Put the dates that matter in your message, a board meeting or an account opening.

Croatian letters, read in another time zone

Letters to a Croatian entity arrive in Croatian. Decide who in your group reads them, or who pays for a translation, before the first one lands.

Then decide where the scans go. A shared mailbox for finance and legal beats one person's inbox. One person leaves, and the mail stays.

Telling us about your group

Put the country of the parent company in your message, because the paperwork and payment questions differ by country. Add the name of the Croatian entity if it exists, and the plan you have in mind, Start or Scan.

Keep the group structure short. Who owns the Croatian entity, and who signs for it.

Common questions

Does the parent company have to be in a particular country?

No particular country. Give your country in the enquiry. The signing and payment answers depend on it.

Is this the same as forming a Croatian company?

No. Forming a company is its own step, covered on the company formation page.

Who handles the accounts of my Croatian entity?

An address does not keep books. Use a Croatian accountant for that, and tell us who it is if you want the post copied to them.

What does the first message need?

The country of the parent company, the name of the Croatian entity if there is one, and the plan you have in mind. Add any bank or platform that asked for a Croatian address, so the answer covers it.
